Dr Carla Pajak

Originally from Canada, Dr Pajak completed her medical degree at the University of Toronto before undertaking specialist General Surgery training at the University of British Columbia.

She became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada before moving to New Zealand to complete a two-year BreastSurg ANZ Fellowship, gaining advanced training in breast surgery with a particular focus on oncoplastic techniques. She has also undertaken additional subspecialty training in endocrine surgery and the management of skin and soft tissue malignancies.

Today, her practice focuses on the assessment and treatment of benign and malignant breast conditions, endocrine disorders including thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal disease, sarcoma, and selected general surgical conditions. She works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure each patient receives coordinated, evidence-based care tailored to their individual circumstances.

Every consultation is centred on clear communication and thoughtful decision-making. Patients are supported to understand their diagnosis, explore their treatment options and make informed decisions with confidence.
